(SIG)Creations releasing the Maddie dress pattern!

The amazing designer, Astrid Novak of (SIG)Creations will be releasing the Maddie dress PDF pattern on Monday 4/28/2014! I am so excited to have been chosen as a tester for this fast, easy sew!

The Maddie dress is a breeze and dream to sew! Unlimited options from type of top to use to skirt length and with or without sash! I made 2 and used white short sleeve shirts. I embroidered the child's name on one and one other I embroidery a design that matched the fabric that used in the skirt. I dearly love ruffles and bows. But for this pattern the sash made a very neat know instead of a bow in the back. The length was perfect on both of my girls. Astrid even includes a tutorial for the headband! This is a go to pattern for me! I will be offering this completed dress in my Etsy shop once the pattern is released.

I tested the 12 month and size 5. They both were perfect fits on both models.

As always if you would like me to help you create the Maddie dress for your sweetie just let me know! I love custom orders!

Till next testing,
Connie

Bunny Hop Pattern Release from Ruby Jean's Closet

The Bunny Hop pattern from Ruby Jean's Closet is now available! This is a super quick sew believe it or not. I made a size 1 and 5 in one day! Sizing is available in 1-8. Designer, Linda Woods gives you different options to applique the stinkin' cute bunny onto the dress. I chose to use Heat and Bond Lite and then cut the bunny out with pinking shears. I then used the triple stitched on my machine for the stitching onto the dress. For the closures in the back I used 1/8" ribbon instead of making the fabric loops. So, yes you still have time to buy the instant PDF download pattern, gather your supplies and make this for Easter! This is a dress that will look hoppin' cute on your sweetheart all spring and summer. Pair it with a button up sweater and it could be worn into fall!

Also, I would be happy to create your sweetheart a Bunny Hop dress!

Tabitha Pattern Release from Create Kids Couture

CKC has just released another great patttern! It is Tabitha. Knit is used for the top and woven fabric for the skirt. Makes it perfect for play clothes. It has lots of options. Can be made in top or dress length. You can add a simple band or ruffle to the bottom of the skirt. Also pair it with leggings, shorts or bloomers for the little ones. Comes in sizes 6 months to girls size 8.

I made mine with short sleeves and seersucker in the top length. So cute!

Willow&Co. will be releasing their Spring/Summer 2014 Collection very soonI had the privilege of testing the Fawn Lily pattern for them. Wow, lots of options for this cute pattern and best of all it comes in sizes 3 month to girls size 12!

I made the size 12 months with the pleated sleeve, gathered skirt and the above knee length. Great fit on my model which is 8 months old but weighs 20 lbs!

New Flutterby Dress!

I recently had the honor of testing the new Flutterby dress or top pattern by Ruby Jean's Closet!

This sweet pattern can be made into a top or dress. The casing for the elastic can be sewn on the outside or inside of the garment. I added ribbon to the bottom of the tops. On the size 5 instead of making the tie I chose to make a bow to match the ladybug ribbon I used at the hemline.  I chose to make tops for my 4 year old and 8 month old granddaughters. The 4 year old is wearing a size 5 and the 8 month old is wearing a size 1! The 8 month old is a chunk! She wears a size 12 months in store bought clothes for the most part. The Flutterby comes in sizes 1-8.

Ruby Jean's Closet designer, Linda Woods does a wonderful job with PDF pattern making. She offers instant download and pattern bundles. I was able to cut both size tops from one printing of the pattern! I love when I can save paper and ink. This pattern also prints in black so no need to change ink settings.

Of course Cranberry Ridge Design is always happy to make a custom order for you!
